MP001 is compatible with P003+ and has more SlMOS 18 than P003+( because the boot mode of SlMOS 18 is very special and needs more lO ports to be supported, P003+ has 4 lO ports and can't support it), and since MP001 has up to 12 lO ports, it can meet all future ECM requirements.

OBDSTAR MP001 Introduction:
 
MP001 is the latest multifunctional programmer developed by OBDSTAR, which fully supports EEPROM/MCU read/write, clone, data processing functions for Car, HD, E-Car, MOTO, Marine (jet-ski). And it is compatible with the function of P003/P003+ adapter (some models of engine/transmission clone K/CAN conversion, BOOT mode read/write).

Compatible with OBDSTAR DC706, P50, MS80, MS50, MK70, MotoMaster, X300 Pro4 and new X300 Classic G3.

Features:
 
1. MP001 is compatible with the function of the P002 adapter (TOYOTA/FORD all keys lost adapter, HONDA/YAMAHA/SUZUKI all key lost adapter) and P003/P003+ adapter (some models of engine/transmission clone K/CAN conversion, BOOT mode read/write).
 
2. MP001 can replace P003, P002 adapter as well.

3. When use MP001 with DC706, just plug it in and the 706 will update the firmware then upload what it needs to configure the MP001 for whatever ECU you are connecting to. All automatic.

4. When read and write Chrysler GPEC2 ECM etc, MP001 does not require a 120ohm resistor between CAN H and CAN L wires, P003/P003+ does need it. 

6. When write R7F7016863/ R7F7016843/ R7F7016443/ R7F701330A etc airbag ecu data, you need MP001 with P50. 

7. When correct mileage for Honda C125 BIZ 2019 93C66 motorcycle with MS80, MS50, MK70, you need MP001.

8. To program Ford, Nissan, Renault etc RH850 key with X300 pro4 and RH850 kit, you also need MP001 programmer. 

Note:
MP001 has P003+, P003, P002 functions. 
Different tablet device models require different configuration software.
