 Detailed Functionality

1. Advanced Electronic Current Monitoring

When connecting an ECU module on a bench using the banana connector or DB25 adapter, the GT100+ displays the precise electronic current.

• Why it matters: If the current is zero or inconsistent with the engineer’s expectations, you can immediately check for wiring errors. If the wiring is correct, it indicates a hardware failure in the ECU, saving you time by skipping useless communication attempts.
• Safety First: High current alerts you to potential short circuits, protecting both the ECU and your diagnostic equipment.

2. CANBUS Protocol Communication Support

The GT100+ has been upgraded to support a wider range of communication protocols.

• Protocol Detection: Specifically monitors pins 1, 9, 3, 11, 12, 13, and 8.
• Full Coverage: Unlike the standard GT100, the GT100+ displays CANBUS status in addition to K-Line, PWM, VPW, and KWP2000 protocols.

3. All Keys Lost Support

A critical tool for locksmiths and ECU programmers.

• Wake-Up Function: For VW, Porsche, Mitsubishi, and Toyota (ECU programming), use the GT100+ to reset the instrument cluster or wake up the immobilizer module directly.
• Streamlined Workflow: Allows for direct operation during key matching without needing to disassemble the vehicle components.

a. To replace the engine ECU of Toyota or to use some key programmer to program Toyota when all keys lost, it requires to short-circuit PIN13-PIN4

b. To program Mitsubishi key with all keys lost or to set OBDII when all remote keys lost, please short-circuit PIN1-PIN4.

c. For Porsche and VAG 4th generation / 5th generation keys (for example new A6L Touareg A4 Q5 A7), please use GT100+ to short-circuit banana connector PIN 16—-PIN 1 to lit up the dashboard, after that use the key programming tool to connect with the female adapter of GT100+ for data collection. Some vehicle dashboards won’t be lit up, but data can also be collected, for example: A6L Q7.
