- Only diagnoses engine emission system; cannot access ABS, airbag, transmission, body control, TPMS and other chassis/body modules
- Not compatible with motorcycles, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural machinery, new energy high-voltage EVs, boats and construction equipment
- Lacks advanced functions: ECU coding, key programming, odometer calibration, bidirectional actuator test
- Requires vehicle with standard 16-pin OBDII DLC port and official OBD compliant label; old pre-OBD vehicles are unsupported
- iOS connection mode differs from Android; mobile apps need to support BLE OBD adapters separately
- Does not include dedicated diagnostic software; users must download third-party OBD apps by themselves
