4. please note the following limitations:

vehicle limitations: does not support heavy-duty trucks or motorcycles.

bi-directional control: the ip616 does not have bi-directional control abilities.

auto scan: auto scan does not work on all vehicles. manual selection, manual vin input, or automatic detection can be used when auto scan is unavailable.

peugeot/citroen diagnosis: an internet connection is required when diagnosing peugeot/citroen vehicles.

special functions: specific special functions are available only for specific vehicle models and are not available for all cars.

flash hidden functions: available only on specific vehicles. current supported applications include some bmw, vw, audi, skoda, toyota, lexus, scion, mazda, ford, and lincoln vehicles.

ecu programming: the ip616 cannot program ecus or re-flash modules such as ecm, pcm, bcm, abs, etc. after replacing modules.

key programming: the ip616 is not a professional key programming tool. compatibility should be checked with the vin, key type, and key adding situation before purchase.

key programming accessories: key programming functions require additional devices depending on the vehicle and function, including kc100, kc501, ks-1, m821, and m822.

kc100: supports key programming for vw, audi, skoda 4th/5th generation, mqb key, and related applications.

kc501: supports key programming for bmw, vw, and benz, with benz support not available for all vehicles.

m821: supports some benz all-keys-lost functions.

m822: supports toyota 8a/4a all-keys-lost.

ks-1: supports toyota/lexus all-keys-lost without disassembly.

eeprom adapter: supports pin code reading, vehicle module initialization, and chip programming.

12+8 cable adapter: required for chrysler 2018 and later vehicles and is not included in the package.

separate purchase: kc100, kc501, ks-1, m821, and m822 need to be purchased separately.

can fd: can fd is supported directly, so a separate can fd adapter is not required.
