Overview
One copy of the ISN is stored in the DME, and another copy is stored in the immobilizer/anti-theft module (CAS/FEM/BDC). The vehicle can only be started if both copies match. If they do not match, the engine will crank over but will not start (fire up).
Product Functions:
1. All keys lost – matching / programming new keys.
2. Replacing the engine control unit (ECU / DME) with a used (second-hand) unit.
3. Replacing the immobilizer / anti-theft module (e.g., CAS/FEM/BDC).
4. DME data recovery / repair and immobilizer (anti-theft) system fault repair / troubleshooting.
