4. Please Note the Following Limitations
- Only works for gasoline engine ECU bench operations; cannot service TCM, ABS, SRS, BCM and other vehicle control modules
- Cannot operate independently; mandatory matching J2534 programming host + PCMFlash software
- Only Scanmatik 2 PRO can output complete GPT1/GPT2 signals for PCMFlash Module71; other J2534 devices only support BOOT / OBD bench modes
- Ultra-new fully encrypted ECUs still require brand-specific dedicated adapters for full read-write access
- All operations must be finished on bench; no direct on-vehicle OBD programming function
- Cannot repair physical ECU hardware damage (burned chips, broken circuits), only data manipulation
- Pure electric vehicle VCUs without gasoline BOOT/GPT interface are not compatible

Connection Method of GODIAG ECU GPT Boot AD programming adapter, J2534 device and PCMFlash dongle software.
Connection example with OBDSTAR DC706
You can clone many ECMs with DC706 and godiag GPT adapter.
For example 8GMW works when connected with Godiag, or thru the pins on P004. You can use the godiag breakout harness instead of p004, it is much easier this way. It also has the 120ohm built in.
You can also use the GPT adapter with Xhorse Multi Prog to read engine ECUs, i.e ME17.8.8, MED17.5. To use this adapter with Multi prog, you also need a G-V ECU converter.
The GPT Adapter can be used with Autel IM608/IM508 + Gbox2/3 as well. You also need a Godiag G-A ECU cable converter.
