Xhorse XDMQBAGL MQB Adapter – Works with MLB Tool, No Instrument Disassembly Required
The Xhorse XDMQBAGL MQB Adapter allows key addition for most MQB48 keys without disassembling the instrument. Only the key needs to be accessed, and two wires need to be soldered. This provides a low-risk, simple solution for key programming.

MLB + MQB Adapter Instructions
Using VVDI2 Device:
- Connect the MLB device with the MQB adapter to read IMMO data from the MQB48 key.
- Load the IMMO data into VVDI2 to generate or learn the key. (VVDI2 must have MQB function enabled; MQB48 NEC35XX locking function is not required.)
Using Key Tool Plus / Key Tool MIDI Device:
- Connect the tablet device directly to the MLB device with the MQB adapter to read IMMO data from the MQB48 key.
- Load the IMMO data into the tablet device to generate or learn the key. (Tablet device must have fourth-generation authorization; MQB48 NEC35XX locking function is not required.)
Warm Notice:
It is strongly recommended to collect IMMO data on a computer rather than using a tablet.
Wiring & Connection Guide:
- Remove one capacitor near the IC on the original key as indicated in the wiring diagram.
- Solder the socket cables to the original key according to the specified colors in the diagram.
