The APB112 smart key simulator is used to collect data sent from the ignition coil, with the purpose of identifying ignition coil issues and decoding vehicle key chip data. It can also simulate vehicle key chips. It currently supports simulation of 4D type chips, and additional chip types may be supported through future upgrades.

Notice: This is a simplified package of the Autel APB112 including only the main unit and USB cable. It functions the same as the standard version, but does not include a carton box or user manual, which can be downloaded online.

How to use Autel APB112:

Important notice:
Before operating or maintaining the APB112, read these instructions carefully and pay attention to safety warnings and precautions.
Do not use it alone. It must work together with Autel MaxiIM IM608 or Autel MaxiIM IM508.
Do not disconnect the USB cable during use.

  1. Connect the APB112 Smart Key Simulator to an Autel diagnostic device using the supplied USB cable.
  2. After connection, the status indicator light turns solid blue, indicating the device is working properly and communicating with the diagnostic device.
  3. The APB112 application will be automatically updated on the Autel diagnostic device based on the selected vehicle system function.
  4. Place the Smart Key Simulator close to the ignition coil for data collection used for chip decoding. After decoding, the original vehicle chip data can be copied.
  5. The emulator chip can generate different types of key chips with future upgrades based on requirements.
