Vehicle compatibility depends on the diagnostic interface definition and communication protocol of the vehicle or ECU.

4. Please Note the Following Limitations
  1. This is only a conversion adapter without independent diagnostic software; it must be matched with external OBDII diagnostic scanner to realize vehicle detection;
  2. For 24V heavy trucks, an extra GT106 12V to 24V truck adapter needs separate purchase;
  3. Cannot automatically identify pin definitions; users need to refer to vehicle maintenance manual or GT108 official manual for wiring layout;
  4. Does not repair physical damage of vehicle ECUs, only provides conversion communication channel;
  5. Not applicable for new energy vehicle high-voltage ECU systems without matching dedicated wiring terminals;
  6. Config C is the full version with A+B kits; single Config A/B cannot cover all heavy machinery.
5. Hardware Accessories & Licensing Requirements
  1. No activation fee, serial authorization or annual subscription required for the adapter hardware itself;
  2. All matching jumper cables, battery power clip cord and locking screwdriver are included in standard Config C package;
  3. Must be equipped with third-party OBDII diagnostic scanner (Autel, OBDSTAR, Xhorse etc., sold separately) to complete diagnosis;
  4. No extra external power supply needed; can take power from vehicle battery via the included battery clip line.
6. GODIAG GT108 (Config C) Specification
  • Version: Config C (Combination of Config A + Config B full wiring kits)
  • Output Interface: Standard 16Pin OBDII male port
  • Functional Terminals: Independent GND4, GND5, analog IGN switch, CAN/K/L signal terminals
  • Protection Circuit: Reverse connection anti-burn protection
  • Indicator Lights: Power LED, GND4/GND5 status LED, IGN signal LED
  • Matching Tools: Locking screwdriver, multi-spec jumper wiring harness, battery clip power cord
  • Working Voltage: 12V vehicle power supply (24V trucks require separate GT106 adapter)
  • Application Method: On-vehicle OBDI wiring / Off-bench independent ECU wiring
7. Software Update
  1. This is pure hardware conversion adapter without built-in firmware or vehicle database, no software update operation required;
  2. All diagnostic functions depend on the matched external scanner’s own update service, no extra update fees charged by GT108;
  3. Hardware wiring logic is fixed permanently, no upgrade package released.
8. Global Version

Global universal unlocked hardware adapter without regional vehicle brand lock, compatible with all global car, motorcycle, truck, marine and engineering equipment with OBDI ports.

9. Warranty

1-year limited hardware warranty starting from purchase date. Free replacement for manufacturing defects such as terminal loose contact and indicator failure. Damage caused by wrong wiring, overvoltage, artificial cutting of cables and unauthorized disassembly is excluded from warranty. 30-day return available, buyer bears return freight.

How to Use GT108?

Steps:

1. Find the definition of the diagnostic interface (find the maintenance manual of your own vehicle, or search online.), or see the definition diagram of the corresponding diagnostic interface of the GT108 manual.
2. According to the interface definition, find out the connection line needed by your car, and connect to the GT108 adapter according to the definition. (Use a screwdriver to lock the terminal.)
3. Connect the connected diagnostic cable to the vehicle OBD1 diagnostic interface according to the definition. (Connect GND 4 or GND5 first, and then connect BAT+. If the power cable is connected correctly, the POW light of the GT108 host will light up. If the vehicle diagnostic interface does not have power, please connect the car battery to the DC power connector of GT108 with the battery cable. If the vehicle needs the ignition signal, connect the O-IGN line, and press the IGN switch, the corresponding IGN light will light up, and the O-IGN line will output the ignition power signal.)
4. Connect the communication line CAN or K-line to the diagnostic interface. (Note: If it is the truck diagnostic software added by the car diagnostic equipment, you need to buy a GT106 24V to 12V adapter.)
5. Connect the diagnostic device to start diagnosing the vehicle.

Note: If you cannot find the definition for your own vehicle diagnostic interface, you can first find out the power supply of the diagnostic interface. First use the black battery clip on the battery connection cable to connect the negative pole of the battery, and then use the BAT+ line to connect to the diagnostic interface to find the power supply. You can also use a multimeter to find the diagnostic interface power supply. The definition of the diagnostic interface can also be judged by the GT101 Pirt Electric Circuit Tester device.
