4. Please Note the Following Limitations
- Exclusive dedicated cable only for JLR HPLA/JPLA/K8D2 AKL; cannot be used for other vehicle brands (BMW, Mercedes, VAG, etc.)
- Not required for FK72 version KVM all keys lost work; redundant for FK72 module programming
- Cannot work independently; must be paired with Lonsdor K518 series programmer, activated JLR AKL software license and dedicated JLR smart keys
- Partial special JLR models with hidden trunk KVM require extra L-JCD 2-in-1 extension cable for bench wiring
- Does not support vehicles outside the 2015–2021 year range or non-KVM JLR immobilizer systems
- Only provides CAN signal conversion; cannot repair damaged KVM hardware chips

- The JLR connector cable itself requires no separate hardware activation or authorization fee; all limitations rely on your K518 device’s software license

- Lonsdor K518S / K518ISE key programmer
- Activated JLR All Keys Lost software license on the host
- Special Lonsdor JLR reusable smart key (2018–2021 dedicated model for JPLA/K8D2)
- No extra external power supply needed; power is supplied through vehicle OBD port and K518 host
- The built-in CAN hook probes are included in the cable set, no separate test clips need purchase

- This product is a pure hardware wiring harness with no built-in firmware; all function expansion depends on official firmware updates of the matched Lonsdor K518 programmer
- No independent update fees charged for the JLR connector itself; update costs only apply to the K518 host’s annual subscription
- After the K518 device’s free update period expires, the already downloaded JLR AKL function can still be permanently used with this cable; only newly released vehicle models stop updating
- The wiring logic of the connector hardware is fixed permanently, no hardware upgrade required

Global universal unlocked wiring harness without regional vehicle lock; supports 2015–2021 JLR cars of all regions worldwide, compatible with all regional versions of Lonsdor K518 programmers.
9. Warranty
1-year limited hardware warranty starting from the purchase date. Free replacement for factory defects such as broken internal wiring, loose OBD pins and failed test probes. Damage caused by artificial wire cutting, overvoltage short circuit, unauthorized disassembly and long-term over-traction is excluded from warranty coverage. 30-day return & refund service available, buyer bears return shipping cost.
