1. The TOPDON TopScan Lite is designed for:

2. Supported Key Functions & Features
- 10 OBD2 Testing Modes: Reading DTCs, Clearing DTCs, Live Data, I/M Readiness Monitor Status, Viewing Freeze Frame Data, O2 Sensor Testing, On-board Monitor Testing, EVAP Testing, Reading Vehicle Information, and DTC Lookup.
- Full-System Diagnostics: Scans major vehicle systems, including the Engine, Transmission, ABS, and Airbag systems, and reads diagnostic information across supported vehicles.
- Bidirectional Control / Active Tests: Accesses vehicle-specific subsystems and components and sends activation signals to actuators and relays to perform specific functions and check their operation.
- 8 Service Functions: Oil Reset, Throttle Adaptation, EPB Reset, Steering Angle Reset, DPF Regeneration, ABS Bleeding, BMS Reset, and Airbag Reset.
- Repair Resources: Provides access to a DTC repair guide, technical service bulletins, DLC location guides, and a warning light library with information about warning symbols, possible causes, and fixes.
- I/M Readiness Testing: Provides one-touch I/M Readiness checks and testing reports for smog status checks, emission pre-tests, and other emissions testing.
- Performance Testing: Measures vehicle acceleration based on set speed and fixed-distance intervals and supports ⅛-mile, ¼-mile, and 0–60 performance measurements.
- Volumetric Efficiency (VE) Test: Calculates engine volumetric efficiency based on entered vehicle data to help evaluate airflow and power output.
- Live Data Visualization: Displays vehicle data through charts and dashboards, allowing users to monitor sensor values and parameters in real time and compare up to four data streams side-by-side.
- Diagnostic Reports: Logs system status, fault codes, and live data and creates before-and-after comparison reports for repair documentation and vehicle maintenance tracking.
- AutoVIN & AutoScan: Automatically detects the vehicle's make and model and automatically retrieves DTCs for review and repair.
- Wireless Diagnosis: Uses Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless diagnosis from up to 33 feet away.
- Key Programming Expansion: Supports an optional key programming add-on for more than 44 Asian and Domestic vehicle brands, including number of keys, PIN reading, key learning, remote control learning, key deletion, and all-keys-lost recovery.

4. Please Note the Following Limitations:
- Key Programming: TopScan Lite key programming requires an optional key programming add-on.
- IMMO Functions: TopScan Pro adds IMMO support for compatible vehicles, while TopScan Master supports offline IMMO functions.
- DoIP Support: DoIP support is available with TopScan Master.
5. Hardware Accessories & Licensing Requirements
- Smartphone & App: The TopScan connects to a smartphone through the OBD2 port and is operated through the app.
- Key Programming Add-On: An additional key programming upgrade is available for TopScan Lite and expands key programming coverage to more than 44 vehicle brands.
6. Software Versions & Supported Systems
- TopScan Lite: Includes full OBDII diagnostics, active tests, performance testing, and 8 service functions.
- TopScan Pro: Expands the number of service functions to 13 and adds IMMO support for compatible vehicles.
- TopScan Master: Includes 30 service functions, DoIP support, and offline IMMO functions for advanced service and calibration work.
- Supported Systems: The tool supports full OBDII diagnostics and comprehensive scanning of major vehicle systems, including Engine, Transmission, ABS, and Airbag systems.

Free Updates: 1 year of free updates is included.
Update Fee: $49 per year for TopScan Lite updates after the free update period.
