VVDI2 BMW FEM & BDC Functions Authorization Service With Ikeycutter Condor
Note: VVDI2 now supports BMW FEM and BDC functions. To activate this feature, VVDI2 must already have BMW OBD Function (SV86-3).
There are two ways to obtain this authorization:
- If you already have VVDI2 with BMW OBD Function and an Ikeycutter Condor, you can purchase this authorization directly.
- If you only have VVDI2 with BMW OBD Function, you need to pay 800 USD to obtain this authorization (SV86-S1).
- If you are looking for other BMW FEM & BDC key programmers, you can choose YH BMW FEM (SK226) available in our store.
VVDI2 BMW FEM/BDC System Features (function enabled, no user manual included):
- Supports key programming with ignition switch (supports add key and all keys lost; all keys lost requires ISN)
- Supports FEM/BDC mileage reset (cluster reset must be done manually)
- Supports key deletion (deleted key positions become empty slots)
- Supports coding backup
- Supports coding restoration
Notes:
- Backup coding and restore coding can generally be operated directly.
- Key addition, mileage reset, and key deletion require FEM/BDC programming first.
- If “Get Key Info” shows unsupported type, BMW E-Sys software should be used to program FEM/BDC before using VVDI2.
- During FEM/BDC programming, do not close the software window until all steps are completed.
- FEM/BDC programming requires soldering and EEPROM reading (FEM uses 95128 chip, BDC uses 95256 chip). Usually there are two identical chips; refer to software instructions to select the correct one.
- After programming, the original EEPROM and coding must be restored. If coding restoration fails or issues occur after installation (such as remote or window problems), use BMW E-Sys software for coding.
- If the FEM/BDC module relay keeps clicking when powered, contact technical support. In most cases, proper programming will resolve the issue.
