1.The Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus is designed for:

2. Supported key functions & Features

IMMO Key Programming: OBD key matching, all-keys-lost (AKL) programming, dealer key preparation, and smart key matching.

Transponder Functions: Transponder detection, generation, cloning (including ID46, ID48 96-bit, Toyota H 8A), and chip data modification.

Remote Functions: Remote generation, smart key generation, frequency detection, remote renewal/unlocking, and remote cloning.

PROG & Module Reading/Writing (Solder-Free support): Direct EEPROM and FLASH chip reading/writing for IMMO, Instrument clusters, Airbag modules, and ECUs without desoldering (when using solder-free adapters).

Advanced Mercedes-Benz & BMW Functions: FBS3 key programming, EIS/EZS, ELV, ECU, Gearbox, and ISM replacement for Benz; CAS3/CAS3+/CAS4/CAS4+/FEM/BDC key programming and ECU ISN reading for BMW.

Key Cutting Machine Integration: Key Tool Plus bind with Xhorse key cutting machine (Condor XC-MINI, Dolphin XP-005L, Dolphin XP-007)

File Make Key (IMMO Data Tool): Generates transponder keys directly from dumped immobilizer data for vehicles where OBD programming is unavailable.

Maintenance & Reset: Service light reset and vehicle error code diagnostic functions.

4. Please note the following limitations:

Mercedes-Benz FBS4: Does not support Mercedes FBS4 key programming or all-keys-lost via OBD (currently a industry-wide limitation).

Certain High-Level ECU Cloning / Online Coding: It is primarily an IMMO/Key Tool with ECU programming functions; it does not replace full dealer-level diagnostic suits (e.g., ODIS online SC N coding or BMW ISTA online retrofits).

Certain Secure Gateways without Adapters: Cannot perform direct OBD key matching on newer Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep (2018+) without a 12+8 Gateway bypass cable, or Nissan (2020+) without a 16+32 SGW cable.

Tokens / Points for Specific Online Calculations:

ID48 96-bit cloning: Requires 100 Xhorse bonus points or an ID48 token per calculation.

Mercedes-Benz Password Calculation: Requires 200 Xhorse bonus points or 1 token per calculation. (Binding the Key Tool Plus with an Xhorse key cutting machine awards 1 free MB BGA token per day).

Optional/Paid License Activations: Specialized authorizations such as BMW Motor OBD, BMW Bench Read ISN, BDC2/BDC3, or MQB49 require purchasing add-on licenses or specialized solder-free adapters.

Specialized Cables/Adapters:

Chrysler 12+8 SGW adapter for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 2018+.

Toyota 8A AKL Smart Key adapters/cables for Toyota All Keys Lost without emulator.

Solder-free adapter kits (e.g., Xhorse XDNP set) for reading BMW BDC/FEM, Land Rover KVM, Volvo CEM/KVM.
