1.The Autel MaxiBAS BT508 is designed for:

2. Supported key functions & Features
- Battery Test: Supports in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle testing of passenger vehicle batteries to check battery condition, capacity, and health status.
- Adaptive Conductance Technology: Dynamically adjusts the testing algorithm according to battery noise, voltage, and surface charge to help identify low-capacity batteries and improve diagnostic accuracy.
- Cranking / Starter Test: Tests 12V and 24V cranking systems, including cranking amps and engine cranking speed.
- Generator / Charging System Test: Tests generator and charging systems, including ripple, off-load voltage, load voltage, current, load current, and battery load capacity.
- Battery Types & Standards: Supports FLOODED, AGM, AGM SPIRAL, EFB, and GEL batteries, with compatibility for CCA, CA, SAE, EN, EN2, IEC, DIN, JIS, MCA, BCI, and GB standards.
- Battery Replacement: Provides step-by-step guidance for battery replacement, including battery condition checking, battery information saving, battery replacement, and new battery registration.
- Auto Battery Registration: Supports battery registration after replacement, including BMS reset and electrical system reset.
- All-System Diagnosis: Reads and erases diagnostic trouble codes and supports live data, ECU information, freeze frame data, and Auto VIN for available vehicle systems.
- Supported Diagnostic Systems: Engine, Body, Chassis, ECM, TCM, ABS, SRS, BCM, IMM, BMS, SAS, Fuel System, Light System, Wiper System, and other available systems.
- Battery Location Guidance: Provides battery location diagrams and illustrated instructions for battery positioning and testing.
- Repair Reports: The Battery Test App can save diagnostic history reports and generate PDF reports for viewing, sharing, and printing.
- Data Logging: Stores diagnostic records and recent test records for later review and support feedback.
- BAS Manager: Supports Bluetooth connection management and firmware version checking and updating.
- VCI Manager: Supports Bluetooth pairing with the VCI device, communication status checking, and VCI firmware upgrades.
- Multi-Language: Language changes are available by providing the 12-digit S/N.（If you want to chang language, you can send above S/N (12 digits) to us to free change languages.）
3. What Vehicles Does It Support?
Supported Battery Testing: Passenger vehicle batteries.
Supported Battery Voltage: 6V and 12V batteries are listed in the product description, while the main battery testing range is 12V, 100–2000 CCA.
Supported CCA Range: 100–2000 A.
Supported Cranking / Charging Systems: 12V and 24V cranking and charging systems.
Supported Vehicle Diagnosis: All-system diagnostics are available for one selected vehicle brand.
4. Please note the following limitations:
All-System Diagnosis: Only one vehicle brand can be selected for the all-system diagnostic function.
Additional Vehicle Brands: If diagnostic functions for other vehicle brands are required, an additional subscription fee is needed.
Smart Device Requirement: The BT508 does not have a screen. Testing and result display require a smart device running the supported mobile app.

Smart Device Required: The BT508 does not have a built-in screen and must be used with a smart device to perform testing and display test results.
Mobile App: Supports the free mobile app available for iOS and Android devices.
Wireless Bluetooth VCI: The package includes a wireless Bluetooth vehicle communication interface for battery and electrical component registration.
Connectivity: USB 2.0, Type-C, and Bluetooth V3.0 BR/EDR + V4.2 LE Dual-Mode.
