4. Please Note the Following Limitations
- Only compatible with BMW EWS4.3 / 4.4 systems; EWS1/2/3/5 immobilizer modules are not supported;
- Cannot work with Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and other brand anti-theft systems;
- Only supports on-board reading on intact EWS circuit boards; bench reading without original EWS board is unavailable;
- Merely realizes EWS data read/write, unable to repair physical hardware damage of EWS modules;
- Not compatible with chip programmers other than XPROG-M, AK90 and R270.
5. Hardware Accessories & Licensing Requirements
- XPROG-M / AK90 / R270 programmer is mandatory and sold separately, not contained in the standard package;
- No extra authorization fee, annual subscription or activation code is required for this adapter itself;
- Normal use requires valid official software license of your own programmer;
- No extra external power supply needed, powered by the matched programmer.
