3. What Vehicles Does It Support?

GODIAG GT108 does not rely on specific vehicle brands. It supports heavy-duty vehicles and equipment with different OBDI diagnostic interface definitions.

Supported Vehicle Types

  • Trucks
  • Commercial vehicles
  • Tractors
  • Mining vehicles
  • Generators
  • Boats
  • Individual ECU control units

Supported Configuration

B Configuration

Designed for:

  • Trucks
  • Mining vehicles
  • Generators
  • Boats

Supported Communication

  • CAN communication
  • K-Line communication

Supported Applications

  • Heavy-duty vehicle diagnostics
  • ECU communication
  • Data stream reading
  • Fault code diagnosis
  • Programming equipment connection

Vehicle compatibility depends on diagnostic interface definition, communication protocol and connected diagnostic equipment.

4. Please Note the Following Limitations
  1. This is pure conversion hardware without independent diagnostic software; it must be matched with separate OBDII scanner/programmer to complete vehicle detection;
  2. 24V heavy-duty trucks require an extra GT106 12V to 24V truck adapter  (sold separately, not included in package);
  3. Cannot automatically identify port pin definitions; users need to refer to vehicle service manual or GT108 official manual for wiring layout;
  4. Not applicable for passenger cars, SUVs and motorcycles (choose Config A if light vehicles need to be serviced);
  5. Not compatible with new energy high-voltage ECU systems without dedicated high-voltage wiring accessories;
  6. Only provides communication conversion channel, cannot repair physical hardware damage of ECUs.
5. Hardware Accessories & Licensing Requirements
  1. No activation code, serial authorization or annual subscription fees required for the adapter hardware itself;
  2. Standard package only contains Config B truck & engineering machinery jumper kit; Config A light vehicle wiring harness needs separate purchase if needed;
  3. Third-party OBD2 diagnostic/programming device is mandatory and sold separately, not included in the package;
  4. No independent power adapter required; power can be supplied directly via vehicle battery with the matched battery clip cord.
6. GODIAG GT108 Config B Specification
  • Output Interface: Standard 16Pin OBDII male port
  • Functional Terminals: Independent GND4, GND5 dual ground terminals, physical analog IGN switch
  • Protection Circuit: Reverse power anti-burn protection circuit
  • Indicator Lights: Power LED, GND status LED, IGN signal LED
  • Matching Accessories: Truck dedicated jumper harness, battery clip power cord, wiring lock screwdriver, user manual
  • Applicable Voltage: 12V equipment power supply (24V trucks need separate GT106 step-down adapter)
  • Net Weight: 0.4KG
  • Outer Package Dimension: 17cm × 11.7cm × 5.7cm
7. Software Update
  1. This is hardware-only conversion adapter without built-in firmware or vehicle database, no software upgrade operation needed;
  2. All diagnosis and programming functions depend on the matched external diagnostic tool’s own update service; GT108 Config B does not charge any update fees;
  3. Hardware wiring logic is fixed permanently, no firmware upgrade packages released.
8. Global Version

Global universal unlocked hardware adapter without regional vehicle brand lock, compatible with OBDI ports of all global trucks, agricultural machinery, mining equipment and marine vessels.

9. Warranty

1-year limited hardware warranty starting from purchase date. Free replacement for manufacturing defects such as terminal loose contact and indicator light failure. Damage caused by wrong wiring, overvoltage, artificial cable cutting and unauthorized disassembly is excluded from warranty. 30-day return & refund service available, buyer bears return shipping cost.

How to Use GT108?

Steps:

1. Find the definition of the diagnostic interface (find the maintenance manual of your own vehicle, or search online.), or see the definition diagram of the corresponding diagnostic interface of the GT108 manual.
2. According to the interface definition, find out the connection line needed by your truck, and connect to the GT108 adapter according to the definition. (Use a screwdriver to lock the terminal.)
3. Connect the connected diagnostic cable to the vehicle OBD1 diagnostic interface according to the definition. (Connect GND 4 or GND5 first, and then connect BAT+. If the power cable is connected correctly, the POW light of the GT108 host will light up. If the vehicle diagnostic interface does not have power, please connect the truck battery to the DC power connector of GT108 with the battery cable. If the vehicle needs the ignition signal, connect the O-IGN line, and press the IGN switch, the corresponding IGN light will light up, and the O-IGN line will output the ignition power signal.)
4. Connect the communication line CAN or K-line to the diagnostic interface. (Note: If it is the truck diagnostic software added by the truck diagnostic equipment, you need to buy a GT106 24V to 12V adapter.)
5. Connect the diagnostic device to start diagnosing the vehicle.

Note: If you cannot find the definition for your own vehicle diagnostic interface, you can first find out the power supply of the diagnostic interface. First use the black battery clip on the battery connection cable to connect the negative pole of the battery, and then use the BAT+ line to connect to the diagnostic interface to find the power supply. You can also use a multimeter to find the diagnostic interface power supply. The definition of the diagnostic interface can also be judged by the GT101 Pirt Electric Circuit Tester device.
